help?????????

Question

whenever i try to talk to my mom she ignores me. shes always playing this online game and never talks to me. i walked over to her a few minutes ago becuz i was upset and i tried to talk to her and she ignored me. then i asked her if she was listening and she still ignored me. then i said fine ill guess ill just go, and she still ignored me. she always does this and i dont know what to do because i wanna talk to her and she acts like im not there. how can i get her to listen to me?

im 15. i dont have a dad. my brother is always working and me and my mom each have a computer

If it's really that bad then while she's playing on the computer pull up a chair next to her and say to her "Mom, there's something I really want to talk to you about..." see if you get a response. If you don't get a response just sit there without saying anything and when she's ready to listen to what you have to say she'll look at you and then you can tell her what you need her to know. Umm, find someone else to talk to? You could try ignoring her next time she wants your attention but that probably won't work very well. If your young you might want to talk to someone like a councilor at school or something, if your older then you already know she is like that and you need to move on with your life, you can't be wrapped up in the fact your mother isn't going to be there for you.

Maybe you could just tell her that its really important and you need to talk. Dont have an attitude and be calm and just tell her how you feel about her not listening. Im sure shes not trying to ignore you, adults have hectic lives and she probably doesnt even realize shes ignoring you.

OK you need to say mom i need to talk to you its important i know you don't think that game is more important than your daughter rite? you need to be my mom for awhile and talk to me i h8 it wen u ignore me u make me feel like i am unwanted i luv u but at the time i don't think u luv me back......if that doesn't get her attention then unplug that computer and that will get her attention, then say do u give a damn about me??!!?? the cursing will get her attention too or if ur really good then say darn. then say if feel like i have no mother, no1 to talk to i need your help and in this world you are suppose to give me support and be my pillar and i am really torn down rite now and it seems like you don't care so maybe i should run away..but don't run away cuz this world will be worse than ur mom. but that shud get your mom to her senses and realize than she has a daughter and a responsibility.....then hopefully she will sit and have a long talk and tell u she luvs u.

yeah talk to the counsiler in school, tell her whats going on. Do you have any older siblings you can talk to? Do something that will really get your moms attention. your mom shouldnt be ignoring you, you should tell someone about this problem.
