1) Thomas Jefferson founded the University of Virgina.
2)John Wilkes Booth was a stage actor who was unset over the South losing the Civil War. He consprired with others in April 1865 to Kill President Lincoln & Sec. Of State Steward. Booth shot Lincoln while attening a play at Ford's theature in Washington DC.
3)Mt. Vernon is the name of George Wahington's Plantation in Virgina.
4) JFK durring WW2 was the Co of a Navy torpedo boat, Pt-109. In Aug. of 1942 in the Solomon Islands, the boat was rammed by a Japanese Destroyer in a night action. He was decorated for saving his crew. The story was later told in a book & made into a movie "PT-109."
5) Bill Clinton cheated on his wife with White House intern named Monica Lewensky.
6) Durring ww2 IkE served as Supreme Comander of Ailied Forces in Europe, and helped to plan the D-day invasion of France on June 6,1944.
7)Wiliam Harrison died shorty after his inauguration due to Pneumonia Symptoms.
8) The early '60's years of the Kennedy's adminstration was likened to "King Arthur's Camelot."
9) US Grant was a former Civil war general for the Union.
10)TR, while on a trip to Yellow stone park had a encounter with a bear cub. The newspapers cartoons of the event led to the nick name for toy bears as "TEDDY BEARS."
