I really have no preference there, a friend is a friend until they prove otherwise.

Being a male, I have to say female, though not for what you would think. I've worked alot with mostly female co-workers, and the sad fact is that while women don't make great friends with other women, they make terrific friends with guys. There's none of the female to female jealousy, or rivalry, so a female is just content to be herself. They can be great to hang out with, while at the same time sensitive enough to listen to you when you want to be heard. You really have the best of both worlds with a female friend when you're a guy. (And by the way, the occasional sex isn't bad either!)

I have enough female friends at the moment, so having more male friends would be awesome. Why? Sometimes it's nice to hang out with the boys AND being one of them! Drinking, going to sports events, playing pool at the bar, playing video games, that sort of stuff. My female friends are all about looking pretty and lady like 24/7, shopping, and talking about boys... so variety would be nice! Oh, and did I mention.... with male friends there's less.... DRAMA! lol.

Male friends some women talk too much. Its good to have both though. I rather have more male friends.

Male friends. I have always enjoyed topics like cars and computers. I'm also an engineer so I guess the male side of my thinking comes out more. Girls bore me.

I have both actually. I love women and they make wonderful friends and can be great to talk to. On the other hand, though, often I need that group of guys to be around for support and fun too.

i'm a female and i prefer to have male friends because i relate to guys alot! i'm a total tom boy! i love guys lol

I guess I would have to say guys because females b****h to much and are always worried that you want their boyfriend. But I do have a few girlfriends.
