Yes- alcohol is too harsh for skin. Use something milder like witch hazel or sea breeze.

for some, yes! I have found that men and women that have oily skin tend to want to get rid of the excess oil in their skin. So they use alcohol. I have found that when you use a cleanser and at least a moisturizer that is made for oily skin it gets it under control. I have been using a product line for over a decade. My skin is still oily, but I have it under control. My mother used to have me rub zinc and alcohol on my face daily. Now my skin looks great! I really love my products. You should try and find a program for you. Mary Kay has worked for me.

I use rubbing alcohol on my face...it's supposed to help blackheads and zits.. It drys them out...so yes it will help. What I do every night and morning is use a facial scrub, (St.Ive's Medicated Apricot Scrub) and then rub the alcohol on my chin, nose, and forehead with a Q-tip. It's helped me so far and it hasn't irritated my skin yet..I've been doing this for about a week and a half.

Hope this helped!

this can either dry out your face or make your face over compensate and increase the amount of oil produced in your skin and ultimately cause breakouts...try an exfoliater then a good astringent and toner ..

It really depends on your skin. My skin is oily. It doesn't hurt me. If you have sensitive skin, avoid the alcohol. What are you trying to achieve? I used alcohol to reduce the oily appearance and to combact breakouts.

alcohol... is really not good in the long run... cause it spoils your skin faster and makes you age...

different skin reacts diferently to contact with alcohol... for some there is a stinggy feeling.. for some nothing,... for some minty.. etc... some irritae yes...

Cant tell for sure.

plain 70%alcohol is used only to disinfect an area. it will dry out your skin if used too often. it can also be toxic if used in large amounts.

I do it all the time its healthy you may wish to dilute it or use lotion if your skin does get dry, but I am no dermatologist so maybe consult one if you do have skin allergies.
