Whether you are looking for the top five scorers in terms of actual points scored in the season, or, points scored per game by a player, you can find it all at NBA.com. There is a stat column scoring, rebounds, steals, assists, etc, click on scoring and get the info you need straight from the leagues' website. FYI, Kobe Bryant scored 2,832 points this past season, LeBron scored 2,478, Allen Iverson scored 2,375, Gilbert Arenas scored 2,346 points, and Dirk Nowitzki scored 2,151 points. Kobe led the league averaging 35.4 pts per game, Iverson was second with 33.0, LeBron wa 3rd with 31.4, Arenas was 4th with 29.3, and, eventhough he didn't score as many points on the year, he had the 5th best scoring average, with 27.2 points per game. As I mentioned earlier, you can find this information and just about anything else you need regarding the NBA. Have fun!
