It's really simple. I had rescued my toads as tadpoles from a drying up puddle and they're currently living in a 2 gallon tank in the shape of a triangle. All they currently have is a little island made of peddles that you can get from a petstore. They have about 2 inches of water where there isn't pebbles, since they are pretty small toads. they have lived quite a long time on a diet of crickets, moths and ants that you can just catch outside. They're growing! You will need to clean the tank about every week.

Geta REALLY BIG tank, unless itz gonna be like a pond or somethin. Toads are amphibiens so the water temperature needs to be controlled. You can layer the bottom with pebbles, that you buy at the petstore, and over that put a layer of that fake moss in some places. Make sure that there is a place for them to swim though.

well I have 2 firebelly frogs they are a little smaller than a toad, but get a ten or more gallon tank. Then get a piece of glass or something that water cannot get through and cut it to fit across the tan then glue the edges to the glass wherever you would like to place it so that you are making two setions one will be water and one will be land, making them even is your best bet but if you dont want them even then the water side should be bigger. Find pepples or smooth rocks to put in the cage on the water, try to avoid gravel because it can cut the frogs stomachs. The land side can be rockss, but I find that my frogs like normal dirt from outside. It doessnt have to be perfectly clean, they're frogss. Try not to put tap water in their tank, use bottled water..I usually put in a few real plants in my tank but I have fake one two. Make sure the frog has a way to get from the water to the land, and a place to hide like a big rock proped up or something like that.

ooh fun... i would like to do this again one day... any large terarrium will do... put some nice plants in it if you want... the toads will dig in and around.... some earthworms... put a layer of leaves and a few hidy spots... bark and logs... etc... a nice big water dish and add toads. they will eat the earthworms but you should feed them crickets every now and then too... they need to stay warm... but can overwinter outside on a porch or shed a few months as long as they're big and fat... water wakes them up... misting or when it rains...

its hard to say i don't know what kind of toad you have ... if its a regular toad like an American toad then you take a tank about a 25-35 gallon tank and fill half way ..... like one side like left side.... with dirt it doesn't really matter what kind of dirt they like all kind just make sure that its not hard and really clumpy try to get it really soft .... then on the other side put some wood chucks and inside the wood chucks put a flat dish with water in it .... i don't know how big Ur frog is but it needs to come up to his/her eyes... don't let it cover them.... frogs like to dig that's why you put the dirt in their and the wood chucks are for him to have a natural feel and you also need to put little nicknack's in their with him/her ...like the little pieces of wood that are usually intended for mice.... the half pieces the ones that they can clime under..... they like moist dark places..... well hope this information helps you ...........
