I am worried so much that my Mom will have a child with down syndrome or something. I am already positive that it will get taken away. What can happen to the child?

If the baby is born with drugs in its system it will DEFINITELY be taken away. By law, doctors must report this. If you can't get your mom into some sort of treatment you can call 1-800-335-1500. That's the number for the Department of Human Services (Child Protection). At least you can dial that in California. I don't know where you are. But you can look it up on line probably and find the Department in your city/community/state. You might also want to look up "Human Services Agency".

The child will be highly unhealthy, and probably hooked on the drugs the mother takes. I don't know the full effects of the drug though, cause I'm not in the medical field. I suggest more in depth research in medical books and on the internet, if you don't want to let your doctor know your mom is on drugs.

Why is she doing drugs in the first place??? I think the baby will either come out premature or have down syndrome, like you said. You might try doing some research or something?

well, the baby is not as immune to drugs as ur mom is so it is almost definite that the baby with be addicted to meth and sry to say this but there is a possibility that there will be a miscarriage

Call Child protective services or police she is putting your life and your future brother and sisters life at risk. ITS UPTO YOU TO HELP THAT CHILD AND YOURSELF OUT. If I knew where you lived I would report her myself I would have to by law work in medical field.

wow well if you can get her to stop try for the baby sake! but he might have mental problems with the smoking, the age thing that implies other kind of stuff she is quite old for babies so it might be twins

the child could have brain problems, mental, paralyzed, if it's a twin fetus-in-fitu and a whole mess of stuff so i suggest that you tell your mom to please stop to save the baby.

alot can happen, the baby could get taken away the baby could be born retarted, or even wourse the baby could be born dead, she needs help and maybe you maybe the only one to help her.
