sign in to your account and click on help, then there is a link that says how to... click on that and it give you a number of options and one of them is delete a yahoo account, click on it and it will give you a link at the bottom to click and then it should delete it for you.

terms of service at the very bottom of the screen very small print click on it and read you will find it.
