It's surely not as simple as getting a sponsor. Sponsorship money is basically advertising dollars. Getting someone to want to spend their advertising budget on you will mean you have to have something to offer them. Race wins, lots of media exposure, compelling personality, etc.
Go to track days with your bike, beware though, in all likelihood it's going to be a humbling experience. Go to some racing schools. Start racing some local club races. See where it takes you.
A friendly word of advise... Stay in school and be serious about it. The moto GP stars, as well as any other pro level racer, of today have been racing their entire lives and sacrificed a lot to get to where they are. 20 isn't old, but the sad truth is that unless you really are the man you've missed your window.
But sportsman racing is very rewarding and worth doing. Unfortunately, it's very expensive. STAY IN SCHOOL!!!!! Do well, good things will follow!!

Nicky (great job this weekend!), Valentino, Colin, and KR JR. all started when they were babies. Not to say it's impossible but it's not likely that you could start now and end up in MotoGP. Stunts don't get you factory rides. Wins do. Start doing some track days. Get your racers license for CCS or WERA, or a local track club, and go racing! And lose the "I'm the man" thing. Racing is an exercise in humility, dedication, comraderie, and sportsmanship. That's what makes the victories so sweet! Nothing is more embarrasing than tooting your own horn only to have some wiley vet roasts your mighty GSXR1000 on the track with a little SV650!
Your best bet is to just go do it. If you make something out of it, good for you! If you don't, well that's OK too.
Remember this, better to be a racer for a day than a spectator for life!

Not trying to sound like a tough guy, but about the only time I cry is due to death. I tend to become more pissed than upset over things. I guess I'm a very stereotypical male in that regard. Did Incubus of all people really just call someone else a sociopath and a psychopath?

You start in club racing which you pay for yourself. if your any good one of the local shops may sponsor you tyres/oil/ parts or whatever. when you start winning more stuff you can get more sponsorship
Your not going straight into a gp job without a proven 'TRACK' record
