There are usually instructions inside the control panel cover.

I have a old thermostat . that has 4 wire two red and two white. I have new Honeywell .how do I hok it up

If you dont have the owners manual then Good Luck! I have the manual but still had problems. I do mine manually now. Try Honeywell.com. At the least they will have a phone number on the site you can call. I am sure they will send you a manual or help you over the phone.
