The old toilet seat syndrome.
I think to be fair everyone should not only have the seat down, but also the lid. That way both sexes have equality.

I know how to solve that problem - when male or female is finished with the bathroom - ALL lids go down - make it a habit - there will be no more cold behind-ends!
