what do u have to have to be emancipated.. a job. a place to live... what else?

what do u have to have to be emancipated.. a job. a place to live... what else? where do i go to do it n is fighting with ur parents EVERY day n gets really bad n them saying they want u to move out n having a b/f to go live with good reasons???????????

That's the whole point of emancipation.

If you're looking to be emancipated just because your parents don't let you do the things you want to, no judge in his right mind would agree to it. If you had a good legit reason (with proof) that your parents have done something wrong, then it may be taken into consideration. Just choose your battles wisely...

That's kind of the point of being emancipated....your parents can't say no. You have to be of a certain age, and there has to be good reason...

yes it is up to a judge, you hire an attorney and sue your parents.

You will have to have a job that can support you, a place to live, food and so on

You will have to provide for your continued education

And you have to have a real reason, abuse, parents cheating you out of money ( used by child stars at time) just not wanting to live there is no reason, they need a real reason with proof.
