ok i have really bad chapped lips.....i need some quick home remedies.

Applying a small coat of Vaseline or lip balm when using a dry lipstick.
Using a bit of lip balm to moisturize as you sleep.
Using a lip balm before going out into harsh weather, especially one with a good SPF factor to protect them from the sun’s rays.
Drinking plenty of water to keep your lips hydrated and supple.
Avoiding the use of lipsticks that can dry out your lips if they have become chapped.
Resisting the urge to lick your lips (saliva does not moisturize).
Resisting the urge to nibble at your lips.
Using a toothbrush with soft bristles to remove flaky skin from your lips.

I would say vaseline & Sally Hansen has a good lip balm in a tube I think it's called chapped lips it's white with gold writing. It's really soothing.

drink lots of water to keep your body moist. water also helps the lips. if they are that chapped you want to start with something medicated. Vicks that you use for a cold is medicated and does the job. It even saids so on the bottle. Or ask your local pharmacist would he advises for chapped lips. and try not to lick them to keep them moist. remember you need something medicated to help them heal and plenty of water to keep your body moist. I know all of this cause I have been through it many times and it is no fun.

I use Vasaline, Chapstick, Carmex, and others that I can't exactly remember the name too.. but Bath and Body Works has a good selection, once my lips were so chapped they were cracked and bleeding, so I put that stuff on and it worked.

this sounds weird but take a tooth brush to your lips to take off the dry skin then apply Vaseline or chap stick

use an exfoliateing face wash and do your lips with it my daughter had chapped lips realy bad and none of the remadies listed worked but this did good luck

Go to the store and buy some carmax! that stuff is the bomb it will clear you chaped lips in a jiffy. its really cheap too like 99 cents of somthing like that!
Good luck chaped lips are the worst!

Kiss you dog on the butt , it wont cure you chapped lips but you will quit licking them until they heal.
