Ok.... I know that there are 3 countries that still use the english system. I know that for a fact because my chemistry teacher told me. I think it is Yemen and one country in Africa... maybe Liberia.

Good question. As far as I know, we're the only dorks who do that. Makes no sense to me, just because we have to be different! I've had to learn metric anyway, if I ever want to be understood when traveling to other countries.

For example, most people give their height and weight in Imperial measures, but must convert them for medical or legal purposes (such as driving licences); Distances are nearly always given in miles, but people measure speed in km/h. Produce and meat are priced in kg and g bust sold in lbs and ozs.

None other than the U.S. Even the ENGLISH use the metric system now.
