not a personal trainer, this would be someone you exercise with, as a friend, not paid.

Male, because I have always had more in common with males, worked with some and woman but I can talk to males better and I feel more comfortable with most of them.

I would rather a female, just because I'm not in the best shape, and I would probably be embarassed in front of a guy!

PS- I just watched that new show, Work Out. It's pretty good! But that's what made me think I would rather be with a girl trainer... the guys on there are so flirtatious! :)

Female. Because the last time i had a male trainer, he started staring at me like he was haveing s*x with me in his mind the whole time whenever we worked out.

That's a very hard question. Do I want a female partner so I won't have to be comparing myself to her all the time, or do I want a male workout partner because we would have more in common.

That question makes my brain hurt. It's too hard. The pressure is just too much.

Oops! I crapped my pants!

I prefer to go alone, but if I had to choose, female. I'm in better shape than most women, but I would feel self-conscious around a dude, especially if it was one I was attracted to...I don't need a guy teasing me because I can only bench press 70 lbs, LOL.

I don't think my girlfriend would appreciate a female workout partner.

Actually it doesn't matter to me. I don't work out.

I agree with TooBeaucoup for the same reasons, & I don't want a guy pushing me to do what they can do better.
