I have seen so many specialist's and no one knows what to do. What's with that. Even pain managemet will not give me any kind of medication. I am losing my mind.

Dear Al Let's look at some neck pain facts: Pain in the neck can be due to injury, a mechanical or muscular problem, a trapped nerve caused by a bulge in one of the discs between the vertebrae, or from arthritis of the neck. If the pain is 'acute' - sudden and intense - it is called a crick in the neck, facet syndrome or muscular rheumatism. If the pain has lasted more than three months, it is termed 'chronic' neck pain. Many things can trigger neck pain. These include: > trauma or injury > worry and stress > falling asleep in an awkward position > prolonged use of a computer keyboard In some cases, neck pain can be a symptom of head injury or disc trouble in the neck, if the pain travels to one of your eyes. You NEED a chiropractor to make a diagnosis. Alternatively, go to your doctor to take an X-ray. Don't think there's anything to do with fallen arches, but you should see a podiatrist for this problem. If any pain results from this, it will be on your legs, knees or hips. ^_^ good luck Hercules
