One-third of the children born in the US are born bastards. Many of the rich and famous are having children out-of-wedlock. Some even sell their bastard child's image for millions like Tom and Brad. So why not just ban marriage, and everyone can be called a bastard for ever?

the divorce lawyers would lobby against it - there is just too much dough at stake to ban marriages
