I really do like both men and women. Isn't that the definition of being bisexual? I'm not doing it for attention. Why does everyone think I do it to just turn on guys?

I could never understand why people would think you choose your sexuality. I mean I know a lot of people who say they hate onions. I mean at birth did u choose which foods for your taste buds to accept? I think its the same thing. I mean why would a group of people choose to be an target of hate crimes and outlaws? Plus the fact that homosexuality is found in every species and has been going on way before religion ever came into the picture.

The only answer to your question is ignorance.

It can be very hard to "come out" as being a bisexual. There are many myths and you will have to educate people about being bisexual cause it's been confused with just being bi-curious (which is just curious.)

There is also the too gay for straight people and too straight for lesbian/gay people. But there are other bisexuals out there, they are just hard to find.

I'll link a good web-site from the Human Rights Campaign that tells about the myths and can help you to come out as bi.

Thats what happened to me, its because they have to think of a logical reason for you to like women. They allready knew you liked men and thats what they were used to, its just a way some people cope with the change. Give 'em 2 months at the most & they'll get over it. Don't think about it too much & just have fun!

Because the latest "trend" is for people to view the act of homosexuality as a defining charactor trait, rather than a simple matter of sexual preference. To accept bi-sexuality as a choice minimizes the arguements for gay civil liberties, not directly, but for some, it will undermine the cause.

It's really popular in highschool and even collages now, for people to get attention to call themseilves bisexual.

Which is really frustrating for people who really ARE bisexual and have problems dealing with it and being accepted and everything.

I'd say you shouldn't care what they think though, if they think you're doing it for attention just reassure them that you're not, and say you won't make a big deal out of it because of that. :/

Because your sexuality is your business and if "everybody" knows you're bi, you are broadcasting for attention. Just do your own thing. When you meet someone you want to remain faithful to, you're going to be one way or the other, anyway.

well let me put it this way. god made woman to date man and he did that for a reason it in the bible if u r a chrisatain and also God didn't say that woman should date woman or man date man. u choose to do that so some people don't believe in that and some will call u some names calling or say that nasty to do. well your parents didn't to that (not trying to say it like that with your parents) that how u came u from your mom bully. some people will not surpport u just from doing that and will thing that is so wrongs for differents reason

I don't know. Bi is kind of "in" these days. Have you done a bunch of other stuff just to be trendy? Do your friends think they know you too well?

If not, maybe they are just in denial.

You are what you are girl and no one else has the right to define you, so why care? Live your life and you don,t have to stick your self in some Cobby hole. I hope you find happiness with whom ever you find as a mate.
