General Contractors will give you free estimates. Call at least three, ask your friends who they have used, and NEVER NEVER NEVER, give a contractor a deposit PERIOD. All reputable contractors have accounts with all of their suppliers, they only need a deposit if their credit is no good. Also they don't mind bidding against each other. Chances are they worked together some time in the past. (Construction is a small world)

Figure about $50 per square foot, and yes a builder will give you a free estimate. In fact, get estimates from two or three, and then get a contract IN WRITING.

Should be around $60 per foot. Get a remodeler / Handyman they will be cheaper than a builder

here in California the average cost for a square foot of room addition is $120.00 for labor and materials. No kitchen or bath.
i would use this as your basis, and you will be safe in your budgeting. you want to have more than enough funds than under.

Over a thousand dollars I believe, go to Lowes they have great prices. You can sometimes get 10% off if you are in tune with the saleman or manager.

materials alone will be around 20,000.somecontrators will not even come out for a job that small,so call few remodelers and get estimates in writing and compare cost of material and labor.also quality of materials too.

like 30,000. vaulted ceilings are more expenssive to contractors. well dont forget the roof too and the sidint unless its already there. but ur lookin at around 15,000-20,000 on materials alone. i helped build one just about that size. it wuz actually 16x24. it all depends on whether you get cheap labor or not....
