Since you do not want to get pregnant maybe you should use a condom or birth control. If your period is that late and it is still coming out negative there could be a chance that you are not pregnant. However, depending on the last time you had sex and he came inside of you could be the reason why you have not had a period. Just wait another month and take a pregnancy test. I know it seems like a long time but maybe your body has changed and thats why your cycle is off or you are stressing too much about the chance of being pregnant. Good luck and I hope everything works out the way you want it to work out.

She needs to be tested by a doctor! My friend had no signs until she felt the baby kick! She thought she was just gaining weight but she was missing her period. She thought she was safe because she was taking birth control pills. Two home pregnancy tests came out negative. She thought she felt a little kick but I told her to test because she only felt it once and I said maybe it's just your dinner backfiring! She didn't think she could be anyway. Then, she went to the doctor and they took a test and she came back positive at 5 months! Now, she's just a little SLOW and this is an extreme case BUT the point is a home pregnancy isn't always correct! Get tested by a doc. Then, if she isn't pregnant, the doctor can try to figure out what is wrong.

There is really not just one simple answer to your question.
How old is she?
Is she trying to get pregnant?
Are her cycles usually on time?
Has she changed her lifestyle habits, job, weight loss, weight gain, using birth control pills, taking any other type of perscription or non percription medications and so on and so forth.
The best thing to do in a situation like this is contact her regular physician.
They would have her case history and be best suited to assist .
If she does not have a regular physician there are numerous family planning centers that would be able to offer some insight to the matter.
Womens bodies are extremely complex and it is not uncommon for a cycle to be interuppted.
However in a healthy young woman this should not be the case.
Again the best thing is to seek professional help.

Menopause. Amenorhea - From not eating enough Iron. Pregnancy. Just because a woman doesnt have morning sickeness or any "symptoms of pregnancy" doesnt mean she is not pregnant. Either way stop asking questions and go to a doctor ASAP.

polycystic ovary syndrome, I am right on with this here:
The ovaries produce higher than normal amounts of androgens, and this can interfere with egg development and release. Some of the eggs develop into cysts (pronounced: sists), which are little sacs filled with liquid. Instead of being released during ovulation, as an egg is during a normal menstrual cycle, the cysts build up in the ovaries and may become enlarged. Because of the way the cyst production interferes with the menstrual cycle, it's common for girls and women with PCOS to have irregular or missed periods.

You should rule out whether or not she has a regular cycle every month. Some women don't. Next, she should she visit her physician for a blood test. Sometimes a urine test can show a false positive result. A serum test would be more accurate. Encourage her to check with her physician as soon as possible. Good luck!

she is experienceing anovulatory cycles... every woman goes through this from time to time: a cycle where no ovulation occurs. i would suggest that she go to the doctor and have him give her meds to forcer her period so she can get back on track. sometimes the doctor will have a woman take birth control pills for a month.
