i would want to be 21 but i know i am going to be 24 or 25 with the way my boyfriend says it. i really dont mind because i want to be 100% ready for marriage. marriage is not a joke for me if i take it serious then there is no need 2 end it.

me and my girlfreind both agree that as long as you are financialy stable that any age is OK, as long as you have the one you want, and are emotionaly ready to commit yourself to one person for the rest of your life

It is best to have a good career and to take your time. A lot of young people have quixotic view of marriage and then they are rocked on the ( Rocks ) of Divorce.
You are right in saying that marriage is not a joke. You forgot to mention that once you have the ring on your finger, a lot of people change. Some for the better and some for the worse. A Cousin of mine got married and his wife turned for the worse and he is really having a difficult time balancing his marriage and two small children.
You be careful and educate your self as best you can; and have some thing positive other than wanting to get married in your life.
So in case things turn sour you can carry on.
I have nothing against people wanting to get married, once people are prudent and not naive or have some Fairy Tale dream of it.

Hey I'm the wife of this guy and I was 30 years old and I wanted to be married when I was 19. Then at 21 I prayed to God to keep me single till I met my future husband! Sure glad I did, and I was single till I met him. Always know what God is telling you! And that will be the time!

I want to be out of college and have a career starting because I want to be financially secure. I need the right man and want to be on the same track. Before we get married, I want to have money for a house so that we will have a good new place to start.

I was 23 and I was sure. I don't think there is a certain age that you should be married by, just whatever is right for you. Make sure you are 100% committed to each other!!
