I read somewhere that hamsters can't eat tomatos or that they are picky with food, and tomatos aren't a favorite of their food, but won't hurt, which is it? thanks.

not at all. I feed mine people food all the time ....he LOVES meat!!!! a balanced diet is good for everyone...dont forget to give him his rodent food.

It could make the hamster sick, but it is likely going to make it sick because of the cheese, milk and milk products aren't good for adult animals of any kind. Tomatoes have a lot of sugar so you need to make sure that it gets enough other food, to much sugar can give it the runs. General rule, don't give animals people food.

It is never a good idea to food hamsters "people food". Feeding them fruits or vegetables very rarely is find, and a pregnant hamster or new mommy can benefit from high-protein food like tofu. But, seriously, don't give your hamster people snacks. Buy treats that are appropriate for hamsters if you want to give him something special.

propblaby because hamsters should only eat hamster food cause i gave my hamster some bread and some cheese and he died

No.. it will not make him sick.. Who knows.. He might like it.. even though I think cheese.. in general.. is not the best for our pets nor any type of hot sauce

seriously you are the first person ive ever heard of that fed there hamster people food. well first off i feed my dog pizza..everyonce in a whie he'll get my crust. but i dunno about this..hamster + pizza could= trouble!!
