My husband used to be an iron worker and when we first got married he had an opportunity to go to Iraq to help rebuild. The money was unbelievable. But we decided to not pursue it. It just wasn't worth the risk.

Unfortunately, I would have to pass, as you cant put a price on his life. My brother in law was supposed to go to Iraq to work for REALLY good $$$, but he was unable to get everything in order in time for him to leave with the rest of his coworkers. Unfortunately, several of his coworkers were killed. My advice is to discuss it between the two of you, and go with your gut feeling. Hope everything works out.

Knowing my husband as I do, if I told him I didn't want him to go he wouldn't go. No amount of money is worth my husband's life. I'd rather be dirt poor and have him by my side than rich and have him dead.

My wife says no. Unless it is what God wanted me to do.
No matter how much money is involved it is never enough if you get killed.

Nope. I just don't think any amount of money is worth it.
