I used to work at a fish cannery. I worked with the salmon roe, to make caviar. While it was frozen, we had to clean the sac from the eggs on a grate. So when it thawed the grate had the slimy sacs hanging from it. It would get all over our rain gear and boots. After we were done cleaning the roe, we had to clean the grates, floor, and tubs.

Fix a mudslide on a hillside when it was pouring rain. Mud was over 4 feet deep on a 30+ degree slope. Basically like quicksand. Kept the backyard and house from going down the hill. Lots of damage. But was definitely worth it.

I used to work in a plastic filter factory in a room where little hot bits of extruded plastic fibers whirled around like the inside of a giant cotton candy machine. It was also 120 degrees in there, so I was sweaty, and covered in plastic stringy spider web mess.

Minimum wage, had to take the garbage out for a riverboat company. Talk about riverrats--they were the size of chihuahuas. Oh and the smell and the garbage juice! Yuck!

When I worked in the receiving dept at SteinMart, I had to clean the restrooms and scrub (with a toilet brush) sprayed poop off the wall. It was in the ladies' restroom. How she managed to always spray poop way up there, I'll never know.

I put together frame rails for tractor trailers. They were covered in this black, greasy stuff to help prevent rust. By shifts end, I looked like a coal miner.

My Computer Networking class was forced to go pick up trash on the side of the highway. We found several clear plastic water bottles filled with urine. It was sick.
