i thought it was a scam that is why i deleted it immediately

the message wan't from yahoo, it was from someone on friends list saying to pass it around or my name will be deleted, i didn't believe it

I have received that same message but it wasnt from Yahoo. It was sent to my friends list by someone on it, and in it said something to the effect that the free stuff was being cancelled. I am trying to verify that at that www.snopes.com website....Im sure that its just someone having their jollies at our expense.

Messages on your Messenger should be taken with a grain of salt.
Messages from people you know and trust can be looked at as honest, but the rest of them should be viewed as crap.
