there made of lead instead of steel, theres quite alot going round (people check there notes as they expect them to be forged but not coins) i've had a few, the gold colouring starts to come off and when you put them in a machine it rejects them, as they dont weigh the same. take them back to where u got them they should change them for you, hope this helps

if you suspect a fake do this test,
1) weight: fakes seam to feel a little heavy due to the material there made from, lead mostly
2) colour: most fakes seam to have bit's of there gold colour missing exposing a dull grey colour
3) paper: if you think a coin is fake rub it on a white piece of paper and if the coin produces a grey smudge mark on the paper then its fake (make sure that the coin isn't just dirty to start with)
4) if the following tips produce you with a fake coin take it back to the shop that gave you it/them and consult the manager about them they should then take the matter from there
hope this helped !

if they are really that rubbish then why did you except them? you should have noticed them straight away and handed them back in exchange for some real ones.

What?
What makes you think they were fake exactly? Would you care to actually describe them?

people make fake currency notes but will not make coins because, its a very costly process and they can not afford.
