Yes. I have partied like it was 1999 in 1999, and before, and after.
And I was on a Carnival Millenium cruise, sloppy drunk, watching fireworks and drinking free shooters with my sister and brother in law. My son was in the day care, cause he was not even one yet.
The next day, I woke up with a hangover like you wouldnt believe, and also a REALLY bad virus that lasted 2 days. (it was my little Y2K bug, lol- but with alot of body aches and puking)
It was TOTALLY worth it.

I was at my grandparents house lighting off fireworks. I then went to live in Australia for six months twelve days later.
