Of course. The Canandian laws are different from the US laws. Their legal system is a little different than ours too.

The US calls its federal laws the US Legal Code. Canada calls its national laws the Candian Criminal Code.

There are other more subtle differences too.

I have provided links to pages about both legal systems. You should be able to look up things you are looking for via links on those pages.

Technically speaking Canada doesn't even have "felonies". Rather than felonies and misdemeanors the Canadian system categorizes offences as "summary conviction", "indictable", or "dual" offences. Summary conviction is roughly the same as a misdemeanor, an indictable offence is similar to a felony, and a dual offence is one which can be tried as either a summary conviction or indictable depending on the circumstances.

While there are differences between the two systems both are based on the same Judeo-Christian values so there are way more similarities than differences.

Somewhat. The laws on felonies from state to state are different in the USA. They do however have a common law tradition like most of the USA.

Different considering that they have different governments. Locate it on the government site of Canada.

Of course, they are. The laws aren't even the same here in the US from state to state.
You need a good Legal Search software to look up laws, or else what you get is not informative enough. You should look up Westlaw or Lexis Nexis, their International Section.
