i'm going to a Chili Peppers concert and i want to know how i meet the band. my freind says just go early, but then what?

You need a back stage pass. And maybe some chap stick. Make eye contact with anyone who has anything to do with the band. Wear something eye catching. Tell them you HAVE to meet the band. Be patient but persistent.
Those guys are pretty old these days. Back in the day, the roadies would pick out the best looking groupies and send them backstage. Then you'd do things like shoot coke and have sex for 10 hours straight. Damn. Good thing those guys are old now.

hang out after the show by the back door, bring some cool little gift to give them so they will have to stop for you, like fresh flowers, or a basket of fun candy or wierd toys or comic books. sometimes the Chili Peppers have pre-show drawings for about twenty people to hang out and dance on the stage during the enitre show. If you don't meet them that's ok! just enjoy the show!

Tricks that have worked:
1) WIN BACKSTAGE PASSES OFF THE RADIO
2) HANG OUT BY THE BUSES
3) JOIN THEIR FAN CLUB
4) HAVE A FRIEND THAT HAS "CONNECTIONS"
5) DO SOMETHING CRAZY (OUTFIT, SIGN..ect) THAT HAS TO DO WITH THE CHILI PEPPERS AND GO FIND A RADIO DJ THAT WILL BE THERE.

Talk to one of the band members. Ask them to an after party, or something.

Sometimes these bands, have websites where you get get VIP passes.
This or any other way to get these passes, at least allows you to "meet and greet" bands.

im not sure. i go to small shows at bars and all i have to do is walk around back.
