The Beatles were probably the greatest band of all time with so many great hit songs and albums. The impact they made was tremendous and will never be seen again! Think about songs like Let it Be, Hey Jude, Yesterday, Hard Days Night, Help, Day Tripper, Eight Days A Week, Eleanor Rigby, A Day in the Life, All My Loving, Drive My Car, Dear Prudence, Revolution, Norweigian Wood, Birthday, Here Comes the Sun, Can't Buy Me Love and hundres more! I like Queen and they are great too but I have to go with the Beatles!

You can't compete with The Beatles. Where as other bands find a sound and stick with it, The Beatles have so much under their belt. Too much good music has come from the Beatles. Can't say the same about Queen!

Beatles sold more records and more number #1's. So you would have to say Beatles were the best English band ever.
But I personally like Queen better. Freddie Mercury was quite the entertainer and what I liked was that the whole band could sing. I also think they were far better musicians than what the Beatles were. I'm sorry Ringo Starr couldn't sing for sh!t... I also don't think he could play drums very well either.

Really hard to compare the two. The Beatles were a great pop band, and fantastic songwriters. Queen, has a trademark sound (Brian May's guitar), the lead vocals. The vocal harmonies were the best of any rock band.

I would have to go with Queen. I just know more Queen than Beatles actually. They Rock!!

well i guess i have to say beatles because even though i like them both the same most of my friends don't even know who queen is so the beatles must have had a greater impact

DEFINETLY THE BEATLES---THEY WERE AHEAD OF THEIR TIME AND THE SONGS CAN STILL BE RELATED TO TODAY. WHENEVER A BAND MAKES IT HUGE THEY COMPARE THEM TO THE BEATLES POPULARITY NOT QUEEN'S.
