do you like it when people call "just to chat"?

i find it kind of.......annoying. girls do this a lot and i never understood it. maybe that's why 98% of my friends are guys.

Well now,

I do understand your point. I get irritated when i am in the middle of something, and i get phone calls for just "CHAT with no sub\stance, or no reason.

I Usually tell the person who wants to chit chat, that i am in the middle of something, and can i call them back and suggest a time with them and see if
they will be available.

When someone is "BORED" and just wants to talk, they usually want to talk about themselves and when they are finished they say goodbye,

If someone is genuinely interested in me,and ask about me, that is a compliment and i consider this a friend, or someone who considers me a friend,.....and then i realize that it is nice to e thought of,

I also truly like having girlfriends to chat with, share ideas, good and bad days etc.
So, if i have a choice of knowing female friends, and having someone who is willing to take time to chat with me, if i need it, i would rather have that,

Men are great people, however, it is rarely that most males will be willing to drop everything, and sit down and listen to the woes of me,

OH MY GOODNESS! I hate itttt so muchh! I cannot stand awkward silences. Like a lot of people define "chatting" over the phone as mindless hours of silence. >_<

When i have things to talk about, then yeah. But it is kinda annoying sometimes.

althouth i do like to talk ont he phone i do not like to just sit there in silence listening to some one breathe on the other line lol
