Usually it's out of laziness or ignorance. The most amazing thing to me in here, is that THERE IS A SPELL CHECKER! Apparently, though, it is seldom used.

Unfortunately, it's not just misspelling....it's the new slang. They think it makes them sound "bad". To me, it's just illiterate.
