I loved Quantum Leap from day from pilot episode in 1989-ending of show in 1993.
There were a lot of favorite episodes, but I've have to say one of my most favs. was "Justice" on Oct./09/1991.
Sam(Scott Bakula) leaped into the body of a Klu Klux Klan member on the day of May/11/1965. He had to stop the lynching of a civil rights activist, Nathaniel Simpson played Michael Beach. It was a great episode. This episode had a awesome cast :
Noble Willingham as Gene(Grand Dragon.) He went on to play a Texas Ranger(C.D. Parker.) in Walker, Texas Ranger.
Dirk Blocker as Tom who appeared in many shows such as, Murder She Wrote, Bonanza(His father is Dan Blocker of Bonanza.) as well as McGyver, Hunter, W/TX/Ranger & many more shows.
Charles Holliday played Sherriff Ottis,a versitle actor of many movies, T.V. guest appearences on shows such as L.A. Law & Moonlighting.
Fran Bennet as Ada Simpson whose appeared in such shows as Becker, Crossing Jorden & most recently Boston Legal.
Oh Yeh lets not forget Dean Stockwell of Quantum Leap as he was so great in this show as "The Observer" A.K.A. AL Calavicci.(An awesome actor.)

I loved this show both because of the very interesting idea behind it, the involving individual storylines of every episode and because Sam and Al were two very likeable characters who meshed well together. It was an obsession of mine through the Nineties and I'll still happily sit down to watch it if it's on today.

My two favourite episodes were 'Deliver Us from Evil' (because it was an abrupt shock to see Sam discover a fellow leaper in Alia only to find she was working to destroy lives rather than save lives) and 'Mirror Image' (it has to be one of the most bittersweet finales for any TV show out there).

I really miss this show. It was my favorite!! I wish it was still on. Another favorite was Sliders... but that didn't run as long as Quantum Leap. :(

They always take off the great shows!

Liked when he kept getting electro shock therapy. Was hurting his brain so bad he was loosing connection from his real self (going so nuts he was getting stuck in the leap. Very Erie.
