If a war is fought with nukes, it will, for all intents and purposes, end the world. The conditions will be so horrible and so unbearable that those who aren't instantly vaporized will wish they had been. Even a limited exchange of nukes will bring about a "nuclear winter" and cause all crops to die. There will be disease, starvation and suffering beyond comprehension. And that doesn't even take into consideration the millions of people who will slowly die from radiation sickness. If you've never seen the 1983 made for TV movie called "The Day After", then I suggest you do so. It gives a very accurate portrayal of what things will be like. This is why YOU should believe!

You should not believe it, because World War Three was the so-called Cold War (1947-1989). World War Four may or may not be breaking out as we speak. That might or might not end the world--no particular reason this early on to conclude either way.

This is not WW3. It is the beginning of the Oil Wars. This scenario has been predicted a long time ago with a book titled, "The Prize. Oil, Money, and Power", by Daniel Yergin. There will be a lot more of these skirmishes to come as Israel wants an oil pipe line from Iraq, through Syria, into Israel.
Just sit back and watch it all on CNN. Ancient Hatreds combined with ultimate greed. Another good movie, so to speak, is the Treasure of the Sierra Madre, with Humphrey Bogart.

The term World War III has been used by Project for the New American Century (PNAC) to describe the Cold War of the 20th century, while the War on Terrorism is referred to as World War IV

Exactly what does "end the world" mean? Will it crack into two like an egg shell? All life will die? That won't happen. Will the political maps look different afterward? Yup. Either the US will have a huge 51th state, or the Chinese-speaking Syrians will go fishing for radioactive troat in Lake Israel.

Hebrews 11:1 would make me believe elsewise.
It talks about faith being the substance of things
hoped for the evidence of things unseen. Furthermore my Bible says that God would destroy the earth not man and since God started it He will end it. Faith helps us to believe, hope gets us through all things (such as war), evidence of unseen things. The end of the world is unseen and God will end it not us.

With so many countries developing nukes, if so many were dropped at the same time, it would cause incredible destruction, and could possibly end life as we know it, similar to the dinosaur epidemic.

Actually you shouldn't. Think about it, people though WW I would destroy the world, and it brought us closer together. WW II comes along and made us re-examine how to live in tolerance of our differences. Hey, WW III may give us a cure for something?

Know one knows if or when, so don't worry about it. God said it is not for us to know. Just do your part to help make the world a little better. That's all you can do.
