Im just curious about sites. Yahoo seems to be a very good one but also the ONLY one I know about. Is Google a site? Can u get mail and all that kind of stuff on Google?

try google.com its mail is gmail
try msn.com its mail is hotmail
use firefox from mozilla.com
google is the best for searching and email
yahoo is the best for answers

As far as I know, Google is a search site only. I get tired of Yahoo at times, also.

What your talking about are home pages. Paid for, and existing to further the sites goals, such as income from, unobtusive, advertising, company status (an online comunity) and just a proffessional style presence on the net. the companies, all offering homepages, with news, search engines, articles, chat, featurs, etc, are:
YAHOO (bt telecom, part/origionally owned) as home page for bt broadband.
MSN (microsoft owned) set by default as homepage on new windows installations, unless manufacturer alters it to dell customer help/google)
NTL (set as homepage when loading ntl modem software)
AOL (set as hompage when using aol broadband disk)
And others...........

Explore the google site by clicking on thier more icon. They do mail, called gmail, now googlemail.

its not called a browser thats microsoft bits Internet Explorer other examples of browsers are Mozilla Firefox,
yahoo is a search engine so are google, lycoss, ask geeves and many more etc

MSN Hotmail is another site where you can get free email.. They also have MSN Messenger, which is another IM program, not unlike yahoo... it was up and running last night when Yahoo was down.

Gmail.com is good for mails to ! i believe even better then yahoo. and Gmail is part of google

they are the major search engine on the net.personally i prefer yahoo....u should try both and make your mind up on which to choose

You can get hotmail and many other free e-mail accounts. They all have advantages and drawbacks.
