In real life no but he does anything to get a negative reaction from the fans. He constantly would make Mexican slurs against Eddie Guerrero while they were fueding but truth be told he was one of the few wrestlers at Eddie's wedding and they were close friends in real life. Then another antic of his was to make the Hitler salute while wrestling in Germany -- that got him fired from his FOX television show but he was just trying to get the fans to cheer his opponent (as tasteless as it may be). Before his JBL character you may remember he tagged with Farooq as Bradshaw under the name The Acolytes. They were a team for several years which couldn't work if he was racist. Even as JBL he has Orlando Jordan as his right hand man. But in character he will be anything that will make you boo him.

His character is racist. In real life he's not. He was good friends with Eddie Guerrero. Hopefully you realize that the WWE is fake and for entertainment. If not you got problems.

I think his character of John Bradshaw Layfield is supposed to come across that way, but in real life no way. I don't think the WWE would put up with that crap.

In WWE he is supposed to be racist. Although, in real life, he is not. He is real good friends with Mysterio and was to with Eddie and is with Chavo.
