One of the problems I have with it is they would seem to change the future by telling you it. I guess you could say that it was "predestined" or something already, but I don't like the idea of destiny since that would seem to indicate there is no free will.
So, if there IS free will, then a fortune teller telling you your future would probably be wrong because you would take steps to avoid what they told you.
(I hope that wasn't too confusing)

Divination is any practice that makes it possible for a person to have an idea of what may possibly happen in the near future and get a glimpse of things happening in the present that are hidden from them. Some examples are: tarot, runes, pendulums and scrying with a crystal ball or a dark colored mirror . All of these methods can give you insight about potentials surrounding you in the present moment which can effect your near future. The largest amount of time these methods can tell you about is maybe two weeks into the future. Any one telling you that they can predict what is definitely going to happen in your old age by using these methods is either purposely deceiving you or is very inexperienced.

Palm reading can show events that can potentially happen later in life, but it all depends on if you stay on the life path that you are presently on. Lines on people's palms can change drastically depending on choices they've made concerning their health and emotional well being. This goes to show that any potential future can be changed by choosing to take a different path in life. If you are really interested in taking a look into your distant future, you might want to get a couple of books on palm reading and learn how to do it on yourself. I did this for myself several years ago, and it gave me information that helped me make much needed changes in my life.

So, my answer is: yes, you can get information about potential events in you distant future through palm reading, but these potential events are never for sure. It all depends on the choices you make right now. If you don't want to learn how to do it yourself, then it's probably best to go to someone who has a good reputation (that you can verify) and several years of experience.

A competent, professional Astrologer could if they had your birth data (date, place & exact time of birth) and looked at your natal chart, transits, secondary progressions, transits to progressions, solar arc directions, and solar & lunar returns.

In an Astrological chart, the 4th house governs the latter part of your life. Look to it's cusp ruler (sign on it's cusp) and it's aspects, any planets in the 4th house and any aspects those planets make for some answers.

Cant say for sure but you will likely subconciously make whatever they told you happen because thats what you expect to happen.

i really dont believe in that. you make your own future and no one can tell you what can happen. its up to your decisions in life that will determine what your future will hold.
