I'll be sitting in PA for a couple nights at a time. There are two dogs which must be let out 3-4 times a day, a dehumidifier which must be emptied, and I need to stay overnight. I was told to name a price, but I've never done this before so I don't know what is average.

Say $50.00 per day.
The dogs being boarded would cost them that, plus I've never had a dog come back from being boarded that didn't need to have a flea treatment. Plus the other things that you are doing for them to make their trip less stressful by not having to worry about things back home.
My ex-mother-in-law gets $200.00 per week for sitting one dog, and all that is, is her letting her out in the AM and feeding and watering, and bringing her back in the PM and watering again. No staying over or anything.

10 -12 dollars per hour --- document your work and the time it's started and completed.
