Depends on how much coverage your need.

I was at an all day training session with Robert Jones (a Hollywood makeup artist), and he says Mary Kay uses the most expensive pigments and has the best color matches available. Plus, a consultant can match you for free and it's all 100% guaranteed.

Also, MK has the highest milled (5x) loose powder on the market. That means it doesn't settle into lines and creases and looks most natural.

Now, here are some other tips:

*Loose powder absorbs more oil than pressed.
*MK's Dual Coverage foundation is similar to Bare Minerals for only $14. Great for light coverage.
*When touching up with pressed powder be sure to blot first or you'll be "making mud" on your face!
*When applying liquid foundation start with a light layer, let it dry, and apply another light layer if necessary to cover imperfections.
*Always start in the middle of your face and work outward. This way the foundation dissipates before you reach the jawbone.
*Your foundation color should always match YOUR NECK, not the back of your hand. When testing a foundation, create a stripe from your jaw to your neck. Blend. If it disappears into your neck, it's the right color.

Hope these help!

I LOVE Bare Minerals!!! You can one foundation for $25 and you can use it as foundation and concealer. You can buy the Mineral Veil (Bare Escentuals also) as the powder and it gives you an airbrushed finish, but still very natural (also $25). This might sound expensive, but they last a really really long time (like I only have to buy it 2-3 times a year). Bare Minerals also improves the appearance of your skin while giving you flawless looking skin. I will never buy any other makeup to use on my skin.

If you're shopping at the drugstore, try L'oreal true match foundation and powder. Whenever I have a breakout, and wear those two together, I'll get compliments on having flawless skin...and when I tell them that I'm just covering it with makeup, they say that it looks so natural you can't tell. It's pretty awsome, try it out!!

I like the Arbonne Mineral Foundation. It's very light and does not settle into fine lines. Lasts all day! Also has anti-aging elements. Very cutting edge technology. Good luck.
