Its not just black teens. A lot of teens where their pants like that right now just because its the style at the time. And i didn't know this was a question about music

Not all of them do - and of the people who do, it's not only black teens. It's associated with hip-hop style and culture, but it's been a long time since that was equal to black. You need to rephrase your question or the focus will only be on your unfair generalization, rather than on explaining a rather unfortunate fashion trend.

I understand you don't mean this question to come across as racist, but the truth is, there is a lot of white kids doing it out there. I'm not sure about this "fashion statement ". No matter their skin color, it looks very unattractive.

It is racist if you think all black teens do this. I live in a predominantly WHITE suburb and ALL teens do it here, regardless of race.

because it is a sort of fashion statement. it says 'i am bad, i am tough, i am a gangster,etc.'
but i heard that this started in the prison.... that's what i heard somewhere.
and who said that all black teens do it? i am black, but never dressed like that.

not all black teenagers wear it like that....i have a ton of people at my school who do the same thing and they are white....idk, i guess its "the style" or people think its "cool"
