That can be debated there. Not all women are that way. It just slows down a little as you age !

What makes you think that they do?
Some people think about it more than others. Of both sexes.
Some women can't get enough and have may be 4 or 5 different guys a day. some girls are pretty bad. I had a girl friend that is all she talked about and had sex with every guy in school that would do it.

Testosterone, and the other various androgens produced in the male body, more specifically, the testicles, and prostate, make us males chemically more horny. This is because the female reproductive system goes through cycles to ensure a healthy fetus, if the male body were too also have periods of decreased potency, we would see many more birth defects,(human sperm is naturally 80% structurally defective, 1%on average genetically defective), thus us males have an excuse for our boorish behavior.

Who said we do? We just talk about it more. Girls/women are the ones who read those romance novels so voraciously, and they're nothing more than pornography in print in most occasions. So who's hornier than who?! You may want to rethink what you think you know. God Bless you.

It is our connection to the collective unconsciousness. The female of the species is ready most any time. The female in other species go into heat on cycle.
So, even if you aren't thinking about it all the time,
