I used to work for K & B Transportation hauling between Tyson plants in Norfolk, West Point, Dakota City, and Denison IA but since they closed the plants thats not available anymore.

All you can do is look in help wanted ad's for job openings for stuff like hopper bottom, fuel delivery, local pickup and delivery (Brown Transport, K-Line, NTC, UPS, FedEx) It all depends on what part of the state you live.

You could also look into being a owner operator to haul stuff around this great state.

The best job my husband got that allowed him to be home most every night, was working for a co called Special Dispatch. There are others like it that use drivers for different local companies to deliver when their regular drivers quit or call in. You can pretty much work every night you want and have what you want off. You can also hire on permanent with the companies that use you if they like you.

If you have a extra 1/2 hour to an hour a day, I can share with you on how I make a little extra pocket change. Basically I do simple things like doing surveys, "reading emails", etc.
I will post a link below that helped me to get started
