It's a matter of respect. Most guys, not all, are taught never to hit a women for anything, also most guys do not like arguing, so the less we say the less time is spent arguing. Once the issue is cooled off then we come back to that issue and talk it out.

Because men should never hit women, even in jest. And you shouldn't really hit him either.... using aggression is not the best way to show love or caring... maybe your bf is aware of that and would bee more comfortable with a tickle fight!

I don't know if your bf loves you or not. I do know that if you continue to hit him and call him names he will eventually get tired of it and you. That is when he will find a girl mature enough to have a bf.

First of all, why do you want to get mad?
He's afraid he might not get the girl if he does - he might get put out to the dog house.
He might even be afraid of his own reations if he does. She'll get mad, she'll hit him, he'll hit her back.
Not wanting to get you mad is not a sign that he doesn't love you. He probably cares deeply.
