You can have up to six sets of developing vaginal lips, so it is possible that the little ripped bits are vaginal lips as developed as they are going to be - it could also be the bladder's outer rim, which is rough in texture compared to the vaginal lips, and would feel rippled as it can be very close, especially if you're inserting your finger and making a crook with it - you may find at the top of this crook it also highly sensitive and erotic - as it is the underpinning for the clitoris. You have mentioned speaking with your mom about other things, so I do not think that you should be embarrassed out mentioning the fact that you have taken a mirror and fully examined this portion of your body -it is natural and it a part of your health and you should keep it as checked as you do your monthly breast exams.

most ppl don't look at their vaginas, and most ppl don't know how a normal vagina looks like anyway. there are many different looks, and yours may not look the same to your friends, or neighbor, or mother. no offense, if your boyfriend is not a doctor, he doesn't really know how the inside should feel like. unless you feel pain or there is discharge or odor coming from down under, i would not be too concerned. particularly if you are a virgin, you are likely not to have an std, except for maybe warts, but that is unlikely. you seem to be aware of and concerned with your body....that's great. although i think your concerns may not be justified, given especially that you haven't been sexually active, which reduces the problems for you down there. to relieve yourself, you should go to your doctor and ask for a PAP exam, which looks at unusual growth within the cervix, and get other tests. relax, i was like you before, overly careful. and you can never be too careful nowadays.

The most important thing to remember is that not all vaginas look and feel alike. What your explaining does seem like a healthy vagina, but if you think there is a problem go to the doctor, they can tell you whether something is wrong or not, and never listen to a man when it comes to vaginas, unless it's a doctor.

Because you mention a "pink growth", I would consult a gynecologist, or tell your mom that you wish to see one, just to clear your head.

BTW: You don't have to have intercourse to get an STD...some STD's, such as the HPV (human papilloma virus) can be transmitted from genital skin to skin contact (like if you've "played" with any SO with panty-less/brief-less humping)...so I would get it checked out.

Don't be embarrassed at all. If you are worried and don't think it's normal, talk to your mom. Then, tell her that you want to go and see a gynecologist to be sure. Believe me, if its nothing to worry about, you'll be so stress free! And if its something that's not normal, you can get it checked out. It's better to catch something before it erupts into something worse. Do it, its your health and you are worth it!

Vaginas are nasty. Didn't anybody ever tell you that?

I would talk to your mom about this, because SHE HAS A VAGINA and has a basis for comparison.

How many vaginas have you seen. How would you know what a normal vagina is like, and why are you talking to your boyfriend about this. Does he have a gynecology degree.

There are no similar vagina, its like your finger print. Good idea to see a gynecologist. You seem to be old enough for a first exam.
The ripple feeling is normal.

I know you said girls only but here's my opinion:
Let me get this straight first, you don't want to talk to your mom about it, but you want to post it on yahoo answers for the whole world to read. Interesting choice.
Yes you should go to gynacologist.
