What made Al-Qaeda, Hammas, and Hezbollah hate us?

What is it that made those people use their mind, heart, and soul against us?
What horrible thing did we did that persuade a grown-*** men to blow-up himself just to kill us?

do a search on Algeria and the French colonialization of that country. those who do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat it. Hammas hates Israel because of the British. Hezbollah didnt come into existence until Israel invaded Lebanon in the late 70's. Al-Qaeda as an organization didnt exist until 9/11 before that it was just Bin Laden and he hates us cause the US CIA backed his Afgan rebels against the Soviets in the 80's then the CIA dumped the afgans like the plague when the soviet union fell and left Afghanistan in ruins.

We gave away their country lock, stock and barrel. If Russia gave the entirety of the United States (plus a little of Mexico and Canada)to the Japanese and Americans could no longer vote or own land, go to the better schools, or even live in the homes their fathers built by hand, we would not be very fond of Russia or the Japanese. If you had to go live in a refugee camp in Central America because Russia gave your home to a Japanese family, you would not like Russia. If we held Israel to the same standards that we would hold any other country in the world, if we quit supplying their military needs for acts that are in violation of any and every international law, if we encouraged them to be a Democracy like we claim to do in Iraq (ie. if you were born there, are an adult and committed no crime, you can vote,regardless of religion), then they would not hate us. But the truth is simple - Israel is not a democracy nor does it aspire to be, it is a theocracy. It you are not Jewish you can not vote. Israel was also not a country or a thought of a country 60 years ago. Sixty years ago it was the nation of Palestine. It was, like most Arab countries, filled with children (Iraq is 75 percent women and children, 40% of the poputation is 14 or younger). Like many Arab nations it held a diversity of peoples and religions - there are Christian Palestinians, Jewish Palestinians, Muslim Palestinians even the odd Hindu Palestinian. What they shared was their nation and their language. We just gave their nation to the Jewish refugees from Europe, but made all Palestinians refugees. We took away their homes, their right to vote, their country and many lives and gave it to foreigners. If you listen to the old politicians of Israel, their accents are American or European because they are foreigners to the region. How would you feel?

The answer is: America's absolute bias against the Palestinians who are struggling and resisting the Israeli occupation of their land and violation of their human and property rights.

Another point: I guess CNN had never told you that America was the one that first formed, financed, trained, and armed Al-Qaeda in order to resist the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan, but when the Soviet danger was over, America no longer needed these terrorists that it made and even started to neglect and criticize them and claim that they are the next big enemy of the US empire, so they started to attack the US and bite the hand that fed them. Did the CNN ever tell you something like this? Can you find in the US media any balanced presentation of what's going on in the Middle East from two points of view and not only from Israel's point of view? I guess not.

I'm not sure about the Hammas or Hezbollah, but Al-Qaeda was actually working for the US; we provided them with food, shelter and weapons, then left them high and dry. So thats why they hate us. Oh and Osama bin Laden is a mad man.

You cannot have everything the way you want. Not a middle ground on this one like so many people delude themselves to believe. Pretending to be neutral on the matter won't help in the end.

It's all about oil. See in order to get it cheap we had to undermine a few middle eastern governments and support a few cruel dictators that the people over there didn't really like. So now they're all pissy about it and they think that they can just fight back. Well they got another thing comin.

well, I think to start to understand what happen is that Jewish and Muslims have been fighting a war through centuries, and US gives military aid to Israel, there is where this terrorist groups justify their war against the free world, Islamic extremist thinks that everyone who is not Muslim is an infidel also.

I am not a supporter, but i think we should ask ourselves this question. They are there for a cause, do what they do for a reason. If we search ourselves well we would know why. Why don't these people bomb countries like sierra leone and ghana?
