I'm not sure what to expect. How will classes be? What about extracirricular activites? Time-managment? I'm so nervous. And this is a private catholic high school, not just a puble high school. Someone help me out.

lol its really not that bad my first year at high school was just last year I'm going into the 10th grade..but it kinda depends on where you are i live I'm Minnesota so we had like 4 classes.. now it changed and we are going to have 6 classes so i have 6 finals to worry about rather than just four..otherwise about the extracurricular activities and time-management you will have plenty of time for all of that..if you get homework go rite home do your homework and you will have plenty of time for all of that. Just relax i promise you that you will have a lot of fun in high school. there might be a little drama but there is at every school. Just keep your mind on school during the day then when you get home do the homework and your free to do whatever. A lot of my friends started doing drugs and all of that. Don't start that believe me you have forever to live and starting high school even a catholic high school its no way to start off doing drugs..just have a good time and you will be fine. Good luck!!

I went to a public high school but I have friends who go to a private catholic school. Any who, I felt the same way when I was entering high school, yeah it's nerve recking but exciting at the same time. I grew as an individual and came across a lot of obstacles that made me stronger. Also, don't be so naive and think that image is the most important thing-well, going to a private school, guess that one could fall out. In time you will learn how to prioritize, and believe me, time management is keen to being successful and although you might not know how to go about with working differen schedules, important things etc. you will-in time. Just try to always choose between whats important in the long vs. what you wanna do. Remember your education is very important, it's not about who is dating who, and what is the latest CD to sell hits, or the make-up you wore etc. it's about the education you will learn and how you use it-because that's what will take you far in life. Also, don't fall under peer pressure, I'm one of the few who has always chosen to do what my heart desired even if it opposed with everybody else's opinion. Always say no, if you don't feel comfortable and if you get degraded for a unreasoned that is biased or someone is just plain rude, don't sit there and take it, biitch them back tell them what they don't wanna hear. Good luck. High school is a very wild ride and interesting one, you discover a lot about yourself-(who you are and the way you are seen by others), who your real friends are, interests you never thought you would have, your first love etc. Getting involved in a sport/clubs will definitely help prepare you in team bonding, sportsmanship and handling you peers as well as yourself.

My I was nerves just like you.As sophomore. I can help other just like you. Yet soon I got use to high school. High school will be more class, your class kinda be bout 1hr and you may have 4class each sem and final for each class. In high school people have thought of making them self fix in with the right crowed. Yet be yourself. All the friend you knew scent elementary and middle will change when they go to high school. Some will remember you, mostly you're make new group of friend.
Yet just have fun, when you start high school and focus on school work.

I grew up in an quite small city and extreme college exchange into have been each and all the interest exchange into different than for having inebriated and making out. I even did a number of that at college. LOL this is stressful to have self assurance I survived extreme college and that i exchange into an "A" pupil. college is have been females have been and have been I performed soccer so I had a blast. It did no longer harm that with the aid of the time i all started extreme college my Dad had stop ingesting (He exchange into between the worst alcoholics I definitely have ever seen) . mom exchange into nevertheless a discomfort yet Dad and that i grew to alter into maximum suitable acquaintances, So i think my view of my extreme college years is somewhat biased. the college Dances have been vast activities in a small city that had one action picture teach with in basic terms one reveal, no quickly nutrition eating places and no department stores. We did no longer get Rock concert activities coming interior one hundred fifty miles so i did no longer see my first stay stay overall performance till I went away to college except you count variety community bands enjoying on the Dances.

Unless you are going to a high school none of your friends are going to, you'll be fine. It is just like middle school, and is one of the most boring/easy/reliable institutions in the world untill your senior year, then you regret not being in highschool any more. The best years of your life are starting.

I think it is just like middle school. Just a little bit harder. Remember
most of the things you do are mental. Like for example a coach told me that a 90% of football is mental and 10% physical. If you believe you can do it then you will be the best of the best, and don't forget to ask God for help he will help you

i dunno about a private high school, but some people will be mean to you cuz you're a freshman. just be proud of who you are and don't change for no one! you'll find your niche. get involved in an activity you love, or a sport, you meet people really fast that way, and you form a bond. time managment shouldn't be to bad, but that depends on your school. best of luck!

It's nothing to worry about - and while I can't tell you exactly what it'll be like, think of it this way: after about two weeks, you'll be quite used to it, and as long as you hold onto your self confidence, you'll get through everything just fine, you'll look back on it and laugh! I do!
