First of all for the other people that answered this question: the word state means an independent governing body. So the United States Of America, are Independent governing bodies that are united as one nation, therefore the U.S.A. is a federation of states, hence the federal government, and the local state government. I will break it down: Texas is a state just like South Africa, BUT unlike South Africa, Texas is part of a federation of states. This federation happens to be on the continent of America and that’s how we get the name of out country, a country that is made of different states.
Now for the actual question: the Israeli government are the same as the early American government that felt it necessary to move, kill, and wipe out all the native people in the region that they wanted to live in. And the Native people in the reagion have a long history and won’ t allow it, they don’t respect Israel’s right to exist. The native people in the region are wrong in how they are fighting this war, and target innocent people, that is unforgivable as specially for those they attack (the Israelis.) And since the Israeli people are of European descent they must be protected at all cost. They could live together but all sides must make compromises. I personally hope they can form one state, and live together as EQUALS.

They did. For a long time. Then a bunch of Jewish terrorists went batshit crazy and decided to blow stuff up... and the UN gave them Israel.
Hence why the Palestinians are going batshit crazy blowing stuff up now... they're hoping the world will react the same way they did to Jewwy craziness. Unfortunately, the Jews have Hitler to thank for the pity the UN gave them... and now that they're killing civilians left and right, maybe the UN will have pity on the Arabs.

They do, in Israel, which has a diverse population of Christians, Moslems and Jews. There are Arab Israelis in the Israeli Parliament. As is so often the case in the MidEast, the Palestinians are victims of their most radical elements and themselves, by voting in Hamas and by Hamas' actions in precipitating the current hostilities. Jews have lived as equals in Morocco and Turkey for centuries.
