Im interested in knowing anything about why the F.B.I. never really tried to go after organized crime in the years that Hoover was in charge. Ive read that Luciano had pics of Hoover engageing in homosexual acts

good question, i think they were all tied together and it didnt stop there. jimmy hoffa and the kennedys were connected with the mob, as was marilyn manroe and a bunch of others. look at the warren commitions report on kennedys assassination. where theres a lot of money involved anything can happen. face it, our government is corrupt and has been for years. the fbi is a legal mafia.

Hoover did try to go after organized crime. He sent Elliot Ness and the untouchables to Chicago to get Al Capone off the street. But Capone was too sneaky and nothing could be tied directly to him, but they did get him for tax evasion.

hoover had dirt on everyone except for people in the "MOB" i mean hoover had dirt on the pope seriously....i was reading about it one day...anyways i think that hoover also had some dealings with the mob but i cant remeber all the details....
