provided you get the right processor for the motherboard, then yes. computers are fairly generic so provided you buy compatible hardware then anything can be upgraded regarding memory and cpu speed.

According to the notherboard specs max CPU's supported are:

1:Intel Pentium 4 HT processor up to 3.06 GHz

2: Intel Celeron processor up to 2.80 GHz

You could speed up the entire system with the install of a 8X faster OS! They're FREE! Try a LiveCD, but it will be a bit slower than the installed version... I am typing this from my old Duron 1300 with NO installed Hard Drives, running the PCLinuxOS LiveCDrom!

possibly. your board is a MS-6577 v4 pentium 4 processor so a p4 upto 3.06 gig or celeron 2.80
