I have. There have been times that I have seen my sister from Florida here in Maine. Or someone who looked amazingly like her!
I saw one man who looked so much like my deceased father that it was scary!
And while I was taking my clinicals in a nursing home - I had to take care of this woman who looked amazingly like my deceased mother except you could tell the lady I worked with was a bit taller and heavier.

People always say that me and my daughter look so much alike that they are always calling me by HER name! I don't see the resemblance but then most mothers and daughters don't.

My husband always says he pitties the poor guy that looks like him!

Just to thow it in.. once I had gone to a health clinic for a pap smear and they told me I had already been there for birth control pills. I said "Not me!" ('d had a hysterectomy some 5 yrs earlier) social security numbers and birthdate were so close I had to show my licnese!

When I refinaced my house -they paid of the wrong one! Someone else with the same name - social security numbers and loan pay off were so close I had to pay a lawyer to straigten it all out!

Well, I look almost exactly like my mother. My mother used to be mistaken for some other woman all the time and apparently this other woman was getting mistaken for my mother, so I suppose, I look like this other woman too.

I also get told I look like Gerard Way from My Chemical Romance. Which is kind of scary.

I am mistaken for other people all the time. Once, this lady tried to convince me that I was a long lost relative of hers. She had called other family members and had them meet her at the Target store to verify that I was not the family member. I was annoyed that she held me hostage (so to speak), but I ended up making friends with her and her family. I have yet to meet this family member they claim I look exactly alike, but to answer your question, I believe it is possible, especially after that encounter.

there is actually a book on this subject! it is really a picture book. it is called separated at birth. er something like that, it has pictures of people who look like twins but have no relation at all, and they have celebrities in there too. i have always remembered this book from the 80's cuz i was so amazed about the subject. one really good comparison is Dom Delouis (the actor from haunted honeymoon) and this chef, i can't remember his name. he is a big guy on a wheelchair and looks exactly like the other guy. read it and enjoy!

I met someone who lives in my town that looks like me. We went to different schools and people always thought I was her or vice versa. It got really annoying after a while.

Yes I have and he was a handsome devil. We even go to the same college and people get us confused sometimes. When we first saw each other we gazed at each like we were saying "What the H*ll and no it wasn't gay, just freaky.

YES!!! and in my situation, 2 people!
One, who is now my best friend, met because she moved in my neighborhood when i was younger & people kept thinking she was me.
The other is actually my cousin who lives in France..and what's even more weird is our first & middle names are the same just in opposite order!

but if i look at a chinease person i have a hard time telling one from the other. also your typical "hot" blonde woman. ..they all look the same to me.
